Had a chance to play around with my Go Pro last Sunday. I’m so glad to ride and work for a company run by a cyclist. We’re really pushing ourself. We’re working on some new gear for 2014. So stoked on this.
Qualified in Cat B after finised in 56th position for time trial and end up in the 5th position for GC and snatch the greeen jersey for the best sprinter. I’ve learn and improve alot since I’ve started racing early this year. One thing for sure I need to improve my climbing skills in order to become a better cyclist. I’m really looking foward to race in Cat A next season!
On the other note, I’ve been working on alot of stuff for 2014. I’m going to rebrand the whole thing about 24/7. Starting from merchandise (which iI really wanna push next year), website, race team etc.
It’s almost end of the year. I’m really looking foward to kick start 2014!
Sorry for the lack of post lately. I’vebeen super busy working and riding. I don’t really have much time to spend on my computer because I would rather spend my time outside with my bikes!
Anyway, I just got myself a new Go Pro Hero 3+ and I had a chance to throw a short edit from my usual training sesh. Have fun and be safe out there!
I had a rad weekend in Singapore. Went down there for another round of Holy Crit. The route was somewhere around Tanglin and I must say that I really love that place. Perfect spot to organize a crit race, the road was liltle bit wet before the race start. No major attack during the race as I was just trying to play safe. In the end of the race I manage to win the race on the last sprint. Everything was really on point last night. Shout out to Fix Up Your Gear for setting up my bike. It worked really well that night. Congratulation CAS and Lion City Fixed Gear for another succesful event. Looking foward for another one! Checkout this photoset by the amazing Yasin Rahim.
There’s a big track crit race coming this weekend, so I went to Singapore for Holy Crit Race to check out what’s going on over there. Suprise to see how some of the riders has totally improve. Young guns like Ghazzi, Amar, Zainal, Juf and not to forget Zul had race really well that night. The race was pretty intense but I did a break away on the very first lap. It was a great fight and I won the race. Really looking foward for another race this weekend. See you guys again soon! Photo credit by Kahiri Omar and Tan Wei J.
Last Sunday 4 of us went to Sentul for the 2nd race of Sentul Road Race Series. From the last time trial qualifying round, we were qualified for Cat B. There’s 3 Category in total (A, B and C). It was my first road criterium and I really don’t know what to expect. But I do believe in the effort we’ve put during training with Coach Sayuti we might be able to finish in top 10 position.
